Key features

  • Tagging panel and templates—Dramatically speed up shot logging by creating customized tag templates you can add with a single click as you review your footage. Enrich your media with metadata without typing or typos. Tag template documents can be shared and reused between projects, machines, and users.
  • Streamlined rough cuts—Assembling a rough cut is now as easy as dragging and dropping the shots you want to include. Ripple trim your clips right on the timeline to get exactly the cuts you want.
  • Prelude Live Logger—Log shooting notes anywhere, faster, and more easily right on your iPad, and then bring your annotations into Prelude where you can add them to your file-based footage.

  • Export marker list—Quickly review the content in your media with a printed list of markers. Easily run your team through the action with line items that describe the metadata in your media throughout your production workflow.
  • Leverage the power of metadata—Create custom metadata templates, so collecting key information becomes an easy and consistent part of the ingest workflow. Add metadata in real time with keyboard entry or directly from a script created in Adobe Story. In Prelude, finding the footage you want is easy because all of your metadata is searchable.
  • File verification reporting—Take the worry out of your ingest workflow thanks to industry standard file-to-file comparisons. If there are issues, Prelude will give you a complete list of all affected files so you always know where you stand with your media.
