August 1: Remainder of Creative Cloud for enterprise VIP Marketplace offer updates (Worldwide Commercial/Government only, excluding China)
We wanted to remind you of some updates to the Creative Cloud for enterprise VIP Marketplace portfolio:
- June 4, 2024: Creative Cloud for enterprise Pro Edition (Pro Edition) was updated with new generative AI capabilities and rebranded to Creative Cloud for enterprise Edition 4 (Edition 4). All VIP Marketplace customers on a Pro Edition offer got immediate access to the additional benefits of Edition 4 on this date. Learn more.
- August 1, 2024:
- The associated Edition 4 price change will take effect.
- Edition 3 will launch to replace Creative Cloud for enterprise and has fewer monthly Firefly credits per user (new: 25 Single App, 25 All Apps) and new SKUs.
- Customers on Creative Cloud for enterprise will experience no change to their existing Creative Cloud for enterprise licenses on this date, but partners must initiate a new licensing motion to Edition 4 (or Edition 3 as an alternate) at their next renewal (end of annual subscription or 3-year commit).
- Customers on Creative Cloud for enterprise will experience no change to their existing Creative Cloud for enterprise licenses on this date, but partners must initiate a new licensing motion to Edition 4 (or Edition 3 as an alternate) at their next renewal (end of annual subscription or 3-year commit).
- The associated Edition 4 price change will take effect.
Key callouts:
- The new Edition 4 pricing and Edition 3 launch are on the August pricelist (published on July 1, 2024).
- VIP Marketplace direct partners can add or change products in an upcoming renewal order’s product mix in advance of the Anniversary Date by using an API call. This capability allows direct partners to change products in advance of the renewal, but the renewal order will process on the Anniversary Date, if auto-renewal is enabled, or when the order is submitted manually.
- For current Creative Cloud for enterprise customers auto-renewal will be disabled (excluding 3-year commit customers). Direct partners can use an API call to:
- Select Edition 4 (default) or Edition 3.
- Re-enable auto-renewal (unless the customer opts out.)
- Select Edition 4 (default) or Edition 3.
- If partners take no action, customers who have the legacy Creative Cloud for enterprise offers will have no corresponding licenses for their next term.
- For current Creative Cloud for enterprise customers auto-renewal will be disabled (excluding 3-year commit customers). Direct partners can use an API call to:
- Edition 3 and Edition 4 cannot be on the same Admin Console; customers may license one or the other.
