Announcing: Enhanced new hire experience

Introducing the enhanced new hire learning journey, designed exclusively to build a community of new sellers who thrive in a culture of learning and to help them develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and behavior to contribute effectively to organizational goals.

What is it?

The enhanced new hire sales enablement journey is a 10-day foundational role-tailored learning path for midmarket and CSMB sellers globally. These 15 role-tailored learning journeys for internal and channel sellers focus on non-negotiable skills and prioritize high-impact virtual activities to make our new seller community job-ready.

Highlight: You can now enroll your new sellers to the new hire learning paths on Consumer and Business Connection (CBC) with the help of your regional Global Sales Enablement (GSE) trainer and get bi-weekly reports on their progress and completion.

How does it work?

Action for first-line manager: In order to take advantage of this amazing new hire sales onboarding program, the first-line managers or CAMs need to inform their regional GSE team of any new hires as soon as their starting date is confirmed.

The GSE team will enroll the new sellers in the learning journey designed to support their role and send them a welcome email with the link to the learning path to get started.

The GSE regional trainer will also invite the new hires for the live sessions and introduce them to the new hire pitch activity using the sales playbooks.

The first-line manager will be kept up-to-date about the new hire's progress through the new hire dashboard and bi-weekly reports.

What are the benefits for learners?

The enhanced new hire learning journey provides our new sellers with an integrated learning experience supported by a simple process and streamlined technology.  The journey is engagement-driven, providing support at key junctures during the sales onboarding process. This makes our new sellers feel more connected to our sales ecosystem, resulting in higher retention and lower time to ramp.

What are the benefits for managers?

Our sales managers no longer have to worry about providing foundational training to new salespeople and following up with them for the completion of enablement tasks. They now have the ease of onboarding their new hires through a 10-day foundational role-tailored learning path and can track their progress using the new hire dashboard or the bi-weekly report shared with them.

study by the Association for Talent Development found that organizations with a good onboarding process improve new hire retention by 82% and productivity by over 70%.
